Changes in terms of clarifying the procedure for granting land plots to the ownership of citizens with three or more children have been made to the Land Code of the Republic of Tatarstan

On October 13, 2018, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan signed the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 72-ZRT “On Amendments to Article 321 of the Land Code of the Republic of Tatarstan” (hereinafter - the Law).

The law makes changes to the Land Code of the Republic of Tatarstan, providing for the expansion of the list of grounds for making decisions by the authorized body of local self-government on excluding citizens with three or more children to the lists and refusing to grant them land plots.

The procedure for notifying citizens about their exclusion from the list and refusal to provide a land plot was specified.

It also specified the procedure for notifying citizens interested in transferring land plots on which a dwelling house, located in their possession, is located, on refusal to provide a land plot.

 The law comes into force 10 days after the official publication.
