The changes establishing side benefits to Heroes of Socialist Work, Heroes of Labour of the Russian Federation and full gentlemen of an award of Labour Glory when granting them the land plots which are in the state or municipal ownership are made to the Federal law

Changes to the Federal law of January 9, 1997 N 5-FZ "About granting social guarantees to Heroes of Socialist Work, to Heroes of Labour of the Russian Federation and full gentlemen of an award of Labour Glory" are made.

The President of the Russian Federation V.V.Putin signed the Federal law of November 28, 2018 No. 439-FZ "About introduction of amendments to Article 3 of the federal law "About Granting Social Guarantees to Heroes of Socialist Work, to Heroes of Labour of the Russian Federation and Full Gentlemen of an Award of Labour Glory" adopted by the State Duma on November 15, 2018 and approved by the Federation Council on November 23, 2018.

Side benefits to Heroes of Socialist Work, Heroes of Labour of the Russian Federation and full gentlemen of an award of Labour Glory are established by the federal law when granting the land plots which are in the state or municipal ownership to them.

Besides, Article 3 of the Federal law "About Granting Social Guarantees to Heroes of Socialist Work, to Heroes of Labour of the Russian Federation and Full Gentlemen of an Award of Labour Glory" is brought into accord with the Land code of the Russian Federation.

The federal law provides to Heroes of Socialist Work, Heroes of Labour of the Russian Federation and full gentlemen of an award of Labour Glory in the property of free of charge land plots which are in the state or municipal ownership without tendering for individual housing construction, maintaining personal subsidiary farm, gardening and truck farming according to limit (maximum and minimum) the sizes of the land plots established according to the land legislation, but not less than 0.08 hectares in borders of city settlements and 0.25 hectares in borders of rural settlements and on lands of other categories.
