Federal Law of March 6, 2019 No. 20-FZ “On Amendments to Article 3 of the Federal Law“ On Privatization of State and Municipal Property ”and Article 54 of the Federal Law“ On Fisheries and the Conservation of Aquatic Biological Resources.
Law No. 20-FZ regulates relations concerning free of charge seized and confiscated vessels and instruments for the illegal harvest (catch) of aquatic biological resources.
With the adoption of Law No. 20-FZ, changes were made to a number of federal laws, such as «On Privatization of State and Municipal Property» and «On Fisheries and the Conservation of Aquatic Biological Resource»s.
Article 3 of Law No. 20-FZ provides that the provisions of clause 2 of Article 3 of the Federal Law “On the Privatization of State and Municipal Property” (as amended by this Federal Law) does not apply to vessels that are subject to state ownership. sale procedures in accordance with the procedure established by the Federal Law “On Privatization of State and Municipal Property”.
The Federal Law “On the Privatization of State and Municipal Property” is supplemented by subparagraph 22, according to which the operation of the Federal Law does not apply to relations arising from the alienation of vessels turned into state ownership, as well as property resulting from their disposal.
This Law enters into force on March 17, 2019.
