Subjects of the Russian Federation have the right to expand the list of cases of free provision of copies of cadastral documents.
On March 6, 2019, President of the Russian Federation V.Putin signed Federal Law No. 22-FZ of March 6, 2019 “On Amendments to Article 45 of the Federal Law“ On Cadastral Activities ”.
In accordance with Article 45 of the Federal Law of July 24, 2007 No. 221-FZ “On Cadastral Activity” (hereinafter - Federal Law No. 221-FZ), technical passports, estimated and otherwise stored as of January 1, 2013 in bodies and organizations state technical accounting and (or) technical inventory accounting and technical documentation on objects of state technical accounting and technical inventory (registration books, registers, copies of title documents, etc.) (hereinafter referred to as accounting and technical documentation) All documentation) is the property of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation.
The storage and use of this documentation also relates to the powers of the subject of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, clause 2 of Article 45 of Federal Law No. 221-FZ establishes that a fee is charged for providing copies of accounting and technical documentation and the information contained therein, except in cases established by federal laws.
The newly adopted federal law subjects of the Russian Federation are granted the right to establish additional cases of free provision of copies of accounting and technical documentation and information contained in it.
Copies of cadastral documentation will be provided free of charge not only at the request of the rights registration authority, but also at the request of other state authorities or local governments.
