On Amendments to the Federal Law on the Privatization of State and Municipal Property

On April 1, 2019, President of the Russian Federation V.Putin signed the Federal Law of April 1, 2019 “On Amendments to the Federal Law“ On the Privatization of State and Municipal Property ”(hereinafter - Federal Law No. 45-FZ).

In accordance with the Federal Law of 01.04.2019 No. 45-FZ, bidding for the sale of state and municipal property will be held only in electronic form. The bidders no longer have to submit in a sealed envelope the price of the property.

Changes made by this Federal Law will increase the transparency and openness of the procedure for the sale of state and municipal property.

The amendments come into force on June 1, 2019.
