Issues of the maintenance and protection of cemeteries are considered In a videoconference mode

08/09/2019 the meeting chaired by First Deputy Minister Artur Galiev on the maintenance and protection of cemeteries was held in a video conference in the Ministry of land and property of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was attended by the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Merzakreev and representatives of the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Federal Cadastral Chamber of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography" in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Association "Council of Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan", and municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan.

According to the order of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N.Minnikhanov, local authorities were instructed to register and bring into the appropriate category land under cemeteries.

In the Republic of Tatarstan as a whole, there are more than 3,800 cemeteries (3,861) of which:

- issued - 1 608;

- partially decorated - 319;

- not executed - 1934.

Most cemeteries are located on agricultural land.

In order to bring the use of such lands in accordance with the law, it is necessary

- carry out cadastral work on land surveying, formation and registration of cadastral land plots provided for the placement of cemeteries as industrial and other special purpose land;

- carry out the transfer of the category of land in the land of industry and other special purposes.

For the period from 2017 to the first half of 2019, 96 decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan on the transfer of 217 land plots with a total area of about 292 hectares from the category of agricultural land to industrial and other special purposes for placement of ritual activities were adopted on the projects prepared by the Ministry of Land Property of the Republic of Tatarstan .

In some areas, work on the design of cemeteries is organized at a very high level. Buinsky district completed work on changing the category of plots. Menzelinsky, Sabinsky, Tukaevsky, Apastovsky districts - at the stage of completion.

The meeting discussed issues on the simplified design procedure and frequently encountered problems in the design of sites.

Following the meeting, local governments were given recommendations on the need to complete work on the design of cemeteries before the end of this year.

The next meeting is scheduled for late August.
