In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, which will be celebrated on June 25, 2020, a large-scale popular voting project "100 Legendary Brands of the Republic of Tatarstan" is launched. It is designed to link the past, present and future of the republic.
Everyone can vote for a brand that he considers legendary and decisive in the industry or republican economy. This is a unique opportunity to choose 100 leading brands that marked the 100-year-old labor and creative history of our Republic. There are many examples in Tatarstan of how enterprises and organizations with a name in the past became the flagship brands of the present.
The purpose of the project is to tell how the legendary Tatarstan brands were built and continue to develop successfully. The project is intended to designate not only large brands that have become nationwide and global, but also local, regional brands from all spheres - industry, transport, agriculture, trade, among universities, communications, media, in art, sports, etc. In the year of the celebration of the 100th anniversary, we want to include the widest audience in the discussion of the choice of legendary brands.
In November-December 2019, “Komsomolskaya Pravda” newspaper accepted applications for voting. The lists were agreed at the level of ministries, departments and the expert community. At this stage, the lists are defined and broken down by industry, in each of which from 1 to 15 of the most legendary, according to the voters, brands will be revealed. In order to exclude the "cheating" of voting, control will be carried out at the IP address level, on the principle of "one IP address - one vote."
From January 20 to February 21, 2020, Tatarstan's legendary brands in 16 sectors are determined by popular vote. In each industry - several winning brands. There will be 57 in total.
