The Federal Law of February 6, 2020 N 7-ФЗ "On Amending the Federal Law" On the Central Securities Depository was adopted
The federal law was adopted by the State Duma on January 23, 2020 and approved by the Federation Council on January 30, 2020.
The Federal Law of December 7, 2011 N 414-ФЗ "On the Central Securities Depository" amended the procedure for the formation of a committee of users of the services of the central depository
Thus, the Federal Law establishes that additional requirements to the procedure for the formation of a committee of users of central depository services are determined by the Bank of Russia in agreement with the federal antimonopoly authority.
In addition, it is established that if the committee of users does not approve of the internal document, tariffs for the services of the central depository related to transactions with securities for which the personal account of the nominal holder of the centralized depository is open to him or in respect of which he is the person conducting centralized accounting rights to securities come into force no earlier than six months from the date of their approval by decision of the board of directors (supervisory board) of the central depository.
