The next meeting of the working group of the State Council of the Russian Federation in the direction "Construction, housing and communal services, urban environment" was held today by the head of the working group, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by Minister of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan Fanil Agliullin.
The event was held in a videoconference mode.
Assistant to the President of Russia Igor Levitin addressed the members of the working group with a welcoming speech.
He recalled that the President of Russia instructed the Government of the country to update the indicators of national projects within a month and a half, and in this situation it is necessary to carry out working groups for each individual national project.
The President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation sent an appeal on the need to consider at a meeting of the working group amending the calculation methodology of two indicators so far: the number of families who have improved housing conditions and the level of housing affordability.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that all the instructions put before the secretariat of the working group have been completed.
The economic situation has seriously changed in the country, and important stimulating decisions have been made by the President of Russia to support the construction industry, Rustam Minnikhanov recalled.
This, including the mortgage lending program for new housing at 6.6 percent per annum (until November 2020), the creation of a fund to solve the problems of defrauded real estate investors, and others.
Given the high rate of housing commissioning in the country by 2024 - 120 million square meters. m. - there is a need to provide newly built housing with engineering infrastructure facilities, said Rustam Minnikhanov.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Russia Marat Khusnullin during the meeting noted that the Government of the country was actively working on the creation of a national plan for the revitalization of the economy, and 173 measures related to the construction industry were included in this plan.
Further, the members of the working group discussed issues of further development of the construction industry in the current conditions, other relevant topics for the growth of the pace of construction.
