Amendments have been made to the legislation concerning the rights of chambers of commerce and industry to support small and medium-sized businesses
In accordance with the Federal Law of October 27, 2020 No. 349 - ФЗ "On Amendments to Article 12 of the Law of the Russian Federation" On Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Russian Federation "and the Federal Law" On the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Russian Federation "(hereinafter - Federal Law) chambers of commerce and industry are empowered to act in accordance with the Federal Law "On the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses in the Russian Federation" as organizations that form the infrastructure for supporting small and medium-sized businesses. This will allow them to participate in regional and municipal programs to support small and medium-sized businesses.
In addition, the procedure and terms for entering information about legal entities and individual entrepreneurs in the unified register of small and medium-sized businesses are being clarified.
In accordance with the Federal Law, the entry of information about legal entities and individual entrepreneurs in the unified register of small and medium-sized businesses and the exclusion of such information from the specified register is carried out by the authorized body from July 10 to December 10 of the current calendar year.
So, information about legal entities and individual entrepreneurs that meet the conditions for classifying small and medium-sized businesses is entered into the unified register of small and medium-sized businesses on the 10th day of each month as of the 1st day of the month when information about legal entities is entered and on individual entrepreneurs in a single register of small and medium-sized businesses.
Before the amendments were made, it was established that the information is entered into the unified register of small and medium-sized businesses annually on August 10 of the current calendar year as of July 1 of the current calendar year.
