November 27 - Appraiser Day of the Russian Federation

27 November 2020, Friday

The Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Russian Federation on November 27, 1996 approved the qualification characteristics for the position "Appraiser (Property Valuation Expert)". Russian appraisers celebrate this day as a professional holiday. It should be said that the professional standard "Expert in Appraisal Activity" was also approved on these days, November 26, 2018. And in the Republic of Tatarstan 25 years ago, even before the release of Russian normative legal acts, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan approved the resolution of November 30, 1995 No. 873 "On licensing the activities of real estate appraisers in the Republic of Tatarstan." Therefore, appraisers of the republic celebrate a double holiday these days.

And this is no coincidence. In the areas of work of the State Property Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan, and then the Ministry of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan, appraisal activity has always been one of the main and most dynamically developing both methodologically and practically. The names of such outstanding leaders and employees of the ministry as Leonid Naydenov, Natalya Burnasheva, Vadim Korshin, Vladimir Pelevin, Damir Bikbov, Tatyana Yushkantseva and many others are associated with the theory and practice of valuation, property management issues. Of course, like a number of other areas, successful development and approbation at the federal level would have been impossible without the first head of the State Property Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan Farit Rafikovich Gazizullin.

The Union of Appraisers of the Republic of Tatarstan took up the baton of developing best practices and improving the quality of appraisal, consolidating the appraisal community, effective interaction with customers, including government authorities, infrastructure support for priority republican and federal national projects and state programs. The non-profit partnership, created in 2012 at the initiative of the appraisal community and with the support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, has united and continues to unite effective appraisal organizations that are confidently positioned in federal and regional ratings.

We congratulate the appraisers of the republic, members of the Union of Appraisers of the Republic of Tatarstan, employees of the Ministry of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan, who continue to work at a high professional level to ensure the interests of the state and improve the quality of assessment, on their professional holiday and wish you success in your work and personal development!
