Spatial data fund of the Republic of Tatarstan was presented with a system on the basis of which a spatial data portal can be created
State Budgetary Institution "Spatial data fund of the Republic of Tatarstan is working on creating a portal for spatial data. This is done with the aim of uniformity and collection of spatial information in one place, as well as digitalization of the processes of collecting and issuing data. Representatives of GIS GIS LLC presented the work of the information system for ensuring urban planning activities, developed by this organization, and talked about the principle of work in such systems. On the basis of this system, it is possible to create a portal of the Spatial Data Fund, where you can keep records of spatial data and materials obtained as a result of geodetic and cartographic work. This is the creation of metadata, and the display of data contours on the map, determination of the availability of data in a given area. One of the Fund's main requirements for developers is the automated interaction of the system with the GISOGD, the provision of spatial data and materials to individuals and legal entities, government bodies and local governments.
An equally important issue today is the ability to calculate the urban environment quality index as accurately as possible. This index has been published for several years and is calculated based on data from open sources. It was created in order for each city to evaluate itself and see progress over time in the measures that are being taken to improve the quality of the urban environment. Representatives of GIS GIS LLC showed their developments in this direction and possible options for calculating indicators.
