A change to the legislation concerning the requirements for the display of the state border and the territory of Russia in cartographic materials has been made
Federal Law No. 180-ФЗ dated June 11, 2021 "On Amendments to Article 15 of the Federal Law" On Geodesy, Cartography and Spatial Data and on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation "(hereinafter - the Federal Law) provides that the requirements for display on materials obtained as a result of cartographic work (with the exception of state topographic maps and plans), the state border of the Russian Federation and the territory of the Russian Federation, territories of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and territories of municipalities in graphic, photographic and other forms, including electronic form, approved by the federal executive body responsible for the development of state policy and legal regulation in the field of geodesy and cartography, in agreement with the federal executive body performing functions for the development and implementation of state defense policy and regulation.
Additionally, we inform you that the Federal Law comes into force 180 days after the day of its official publication.
