Today, June 22, is the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow. 80 years ago, on this day, German troops invaded the territory of the USSR without declaring war.
The memory of the veterans who died in the Great Patriotic War was honored with a minute of silence at the State Budgetary Institution Spatial data fund of the Republic of Tatarstan. Also, a lecture-conversation “Love won the war” was organized for the employees on the topic.
Leading specialist of the department of territorial planning Tatyana Kopoteva told her colleagues about what kept the morale of the soldiers striving to defeat enemies and clear the territory of the Motherland from the fascist invaders. The theme was revealed on the basis of the plot and heroes of the famous film "Only old men go to battle".
As it turned out, heroes do not exist only in films. The employees of the State Budgetary Institution Spatial data fund of the Republic of Tatarstan spoke themselves about the relatives who took part in the war, showing photographs and awards of their grandfathers and grandmothers. The event ended with the song "Oh, my fogs" by M. Isakovsky to the melodic search of guitar strings.
On this memorable day, we must remember all those who gave us a peaceful sky overhead and say "thank you" to them. Their feat is eternal, as is our memory of it!
