Today, on June 24, 2021, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan Edik Diyarov, the videoconference meeting on the issue of considering the financial and economic activities of municipal unitary enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan following the results of the 1st quarter of 2021 was held.
At the end of the 1st quarter of 2021, 136 municipal unitary enterprises were registered in the republic, of which 98 are operating, there are no activities in 12 municipal unitary enterprises, 20 are in the liquidation procedure and 6 enterprises are in the bankruptcy procedure.
Edik Diyarov noted that according to the analysis, the number of unprofitable enterprises at the end of the 1st quarter of 2021 amounted to 58 municipal unitary enterprises, and 24 municipal unitary enterprises were credited. The most unprofitable are municipal unitary enterprises in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsky, Bavlinsky, Verkhneuslonsky, Aktanyshsky and Nurlatsky municipal districts. Municipalities with the largest number of credited municipal unitary enterprises are in Naberezhnye Chelny, Aktanyshsky, Almetyevsky, Verkhneuslonsky, Mendeleevsky and Kamsko-Ustinsky municipal districts.
The meeting reviewed the activities of the most unprofitable and credited municipal unitary enterprises with risks of loss of municipal property. Representatives of municipalities and heads of the municipal unitary enterprises under consideration provided explanations about the reasons for the losses of enterprises and the measures taken to improve their financial performance.
During his speech, the Deputy Minister also noted the need to implement the Action Plan of the Republic of Tatarstan for the period until January 1, 2025 to reform the state unitary enterprises and municipal unitary enterprises, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 966 dated October 27, 2020.
