Fanil Agliullin took part in the meeting of the Board of Directors of TATNEFT PJSC

Today the Minister of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan Fanil Agliullin took part in the regular meeting of the Board of Directors of  TATNEFT  PJSC chaired by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The event took place at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Board of Directors reviewed the results of budget execution for the first half of 2021 and approved the budget for August this year.

At the meeting, information was heard on the progress and prospects of the development of the TANECO complex. The Company has already invested 441.6 billion rubles in the project. At present, the Complex operates 21 technological units, which make it possible to produce high-quality products and achieve a refining depth of 99% of crude oil.

By the end of the year, it is planned to launch four more technological units: a delayed coking unit, a gas fractionation unit, a diesel fuel isodewaxing unit and a pilot industrial hydroconversion unit. There are also plans to complete the modernization of the oil production unit, which will make it possible to produce base oil with a viscosity of 6 cSt.

The strategic goal of TATNEFT is to increase the volume of oil refining at TANECO to more than 15 million tons per year (starting from 2022), increase the yield of light oil products to 85% with a refining depth of 99%.

The Board of Directors made a decision to ensure the completion of the planned facilities within the timeframe stipulated by the schedule

The meeting heard information on the development of the function of industrial safety, labor and environmental protection in TATNEFT Group.

When implementing the Strategy of TATNEFT Group until 2030, the Company takes into account global challenges, problems and trends related to aspects of sustainable development; is guided by the principles of corporate social responsibility.

TATNEFT has built a system for accounting for greenhouse gas emissions, calculations are based on the recommendations of the GreenHouseGas Protocol international standards, and a program has been developed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions until 2025. The carbon footprint of all innovation and investment projects is assessed using the internal carbon price.

To minimize the negative impact on the environment, taking into account climatic changes, the Environmental Program of TATNEFT Group for 2021-2025 is being implemented.

In accordance with the best practices in the field of industrial safety, labor and environmental protection, the Company strives to be proactive, develops and applies preventive measures based on a risk-based approach and thinking in all activities and business areas.

The Board of Directors also considered a number of other issues related to the current activities of Tatneft.
