Currently, in various circles, the issues of creating food reserves to improve the safety of each Russian region and the formation of a tool for timely regulation of the pricing policy for socially significant food products are being discussed more and more often.
In order to assess the need and feasibility of creating a state reserve of the Republic of Tatarstan, which can be used to regulate the price situation on the food market and meet the needs for agricultural products, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan studied the available world and Russian experience on this issue, developed proposals on the nomenclature of a possible State Reserve, the mechanism for calculating the need, approaches to its creation and management, as well as a preliminary financial model with an estimate of the required funding.
To discuss this issue and develop joint proposals for work in this direction, today the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan organized a videoconferencing meeting, which was attended by the Minister of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan Fanil Agliullin, First Deputy Minister Artur Galiev and Deputy Minister Edik Diyarov.
