The Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum - 2021, which is taking place at the site of the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center has been opened in Kazan. Representatives of over 150 companies from all over the world will discuss the prospects for the development of the petrochemical industry in the face of new global challenges.

Within the framework of the forum dedicated to the Year of Science and Technology, dozens of exhibitions, conferences and round tables reflecting the topics of geodesy, energy, chemistry and oil industry were organized,. Thus, Ruslan Komarov, Director of the State Budgetary Institution Spatial Data Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, also spoke at the X International Scientific and Practical Conference “Topical Issues of Geodesy and Geoinformation Systems”.

He spoke about the foundation of the Spatial Data Fund, its development and prospects, and also outlined the existing difficulties in the process of collecting spatial data.

“Today, spatial data is created continuously, thanks to such methods as remote sensing of the earth, aerial photography, laser scanning, and gradually we are moving towards creating a digital twin: first an object, then a region, a country and our entire planet. Therefore, solving the problem of combining spatial data is an important task so that as a result we do not get digitalization of chaos. For example, now Tatarstan, together with the Krasnodar Territory, the Perm Territory and the Irkutsk Region, is participating in the Federal service of state registration, cadastre and cartography experiment in creating a single information resource about land and real estate, where spatial data from various federal geographic information systems will be combined - Federal State Information System for Territorial Planning, Federal State Information System Unified Electronic Cartographic Framework, Federal State Information System United real estate register , - said Ruslan Viktorovich in his speech.

The forum was attended by other employees of the Spatial Data Fund, who got acquainted with advanced technologies and novelties in the field of geodesy and cartography.
