Results of the conference "Development of standards and methodology in appraisal activities"
The conference of the self-regulatory organization "Russian Society of Appraisers" "Development of standards and methodology in appraisal activities", held last week with the information assistance of the Union of Appraisers of the Republic of Tatarstan, gathered participants from many cities of the Russian Federation.
The executive director of the self-regulatory organization of appraisers "Russian Society of Appraisers" Sergey Zayakin spoke about the planned changes in the legislation on valuation activities, the strengthening of the role of the state, the responsibility of appraisers and experts in this area, gave examples of arbitration processes with the participation of appraisers or a self-regulatory organization as defendants.
The economic situation in Russia was described by Igor Kokh, professor at the Department of Financial Markets and Financial Institutions at Kazan Federal University.
A relevant topic based on practical examples was raised by Dmitry Khloptsov, Head of the Department of Assessment and Property Management at Tomsk State University. His presentation was devoted to the assessment for the purpose of the seizure and the amount of compensation for the seized items. Considering the large-scale implementation of road construction projects in the Republic of Tatarstan in recent years, the topic aroused undoubted interest not only of the present appraisers, but also of the conference participants - the head of the assessment department of the Ministry of Land Property of the Republic of Tatarstan Larisa Shvetsova, representatives of the Committee for Land and Property of the Mayor's Office of Kazan Irina Yakimova and Linar Sharafeev ... At the end of the speech, Oleg Bulgakov, Executive Director of the Union of Appraisers of the Republic of Tatarstan, thanked the lecturer for the informative material, and also conveyed gratitude from the audience - employees of Ak BARS Bank PJSC for the effective presentation of material during the remote seminar organized by the Union and the bank on the examination of assessment reports (November -December 2021).
The issues of determining a commensurate payment for the easement were highlighted by Vladislav Lomakin (Chairman of the Regional Public Education Organization, Kurgan) and the head of the regional department of the Regional Public Organization, Chairman of the Methodological Council of the Regional Public Organization and the Expert Council of the Union of Appraisers of the Republic of Tatarstan Dmitry Zakhmatov.
During the conference, a number of other topical issues were also considered, and a lively exchange of views took place.
