Fanil Agliullin took part in the regular meeting of the Board of Directors of TATNEFT PJSC
The meeting of the Board of Directors of TATNEFT PJSC was held yesterday at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
The Board of Directors reviewed the results of TATNEFT’s PJSC budget execution for 2021 and approved the budget for February 2022.
The meeting provided information on the results of the activities of the Internal Audit Department of TATNEFT PJSC for the past year and approved the plan for 2022. The external assessment of the activities of the Internal Audit Department of the Company showed full compliance with the International Professional Standards and the Code of Ethics of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
In 2021, the department completed 47 audits with the development of corrective measures. On an ongoing basis, audits of the activities of the Banking Group "ZENIT" were carried out.
The management system based on a risk-based approach, formed in TATNEFT, makes it possible to control risks, plan actions based on their assessment and make optimal and rational business decisions aimed at achieving the strategic goals and operational results of the relevant business areas and the Company as a whole.
The participants of the meeting listened to the information on the implementation of the strategy of innovative development of Tatneft from 2018 to 2021. A systematic approach to technology development allows the TATNEFT Group to increase the potential for innovative growth in all business and functional areas.
All projects developed by the Company are assessed in terms of ESG risks and contribution to a sustainable energy future. Among the current developments are promising technologies for capturing, cleaning and processing CO2 into various types of marketable products, including at the TANECO oil refinery.
To address current industry and new global challenges, the Company is developing a system of "open innovations". The partner network of Tatneft includes more than 130 strategic partners.
The successful fulfillment of the technological tasks of businesses is also ensured by the system integration of technologies. The synergistic effect is achieved through the use of complex technological developments and IT solutions. One example is complex technologies in the reservoir pressure maintenance system, where, due to the introduction of integrated modeling, energy-efficient equipment and other innovative solutions, electricity consumption is reduced by 2 times, greenhouse gas emissions are reduced by 6.5 times and the cost of pipeline construction is reduced by 30 percent.
The technological potential of the Company and the expansion of the geography of its presence are also demonstrated by patent work. From 2018 to 2021, Tatneft registered the rights to 1,336 intellectual property items. In 2021, 431 relevant applications were submitted, including 34 outside the Russian Federation. Compared to 2017, the growth was 77 percent.
The Company's innovation strategy pays special attention to the development of intra-corporate collaborations of research, engineering, marketing and production departments. The development of this ecosystem will make it possible to implement complex technological solutions using the intellectual and production resources of the composite, machine-building, digital, biotechnological clusters, etc.
In its innovation strategy, Tatneft will focus on regional and federal innovation development programs to solve large-scale production problems in the interests of the republic and the country.
