Federal Law "On Amendments to Article 27 of the Land Code of the Russian Federation"
On February 16, 2022, the President of the Russian Federation signed the Federal Law “On Amendments to Article 27 of the Land Code of the Russian Federation”.
The legislator decided to limit the circulation of state or municipally owned land plots located only in the first belt of sanitary protection zones of drinking and domestic water supply sources. At the same time, land plots located in the second belt of these zones are excluded from the number of land plots that are limited in circulation.
The proper condition of water bodies used for drinking and domestic water supply is ensured through the implementation of the provisions of sanitary legislation.
The relaxation of the restriction will not create additional risks of contamination of drinking water sources, since compliance with the requirements of sanitary legislation does not depend on the type of right to a land plot.
