The Ministry of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting via videoconference with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Airat Gatiyatov on the implementation of the project for the construction of an educational campus in the Republic of Tatarstan
On July 8, 2022, Deputy Minister Rustem Shameev took part in a video conference meeting with the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Airat Gatiyatov on the implementation of a project to build an educational campus in the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was also attended by representatives of the executive bodies of state power of the Republic of Tatarstan, rectors of republican universities.
Airat Gatiyatov voiced the key points that need to be paid attention to when preparing an application for participation in the project, focused on the fact that the implementation of the project should be of an interuniversity nature. The presence of various functional areas of the campus being created will provide additional opportunities to improve the level of research work and the quality of education, as well as allow retaining and attracting young and promising personnel to the regions.
Recall that the work to create a network of campuses is being carried out within the framework of the national project "Science and Universities" on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. It is planned that they will be not just the usual campuses and dormitories at large universities, but modern multifunctional spaces. Campuses are designed to become powerful growth points for science, education and innovation. Construction will be carried out on the basis of public-private partnership.
