On September 29, 2022, the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan N 54-ЗРТ "On Amendments to Articles 34 and 40 of the Land Code of the Republic of Tatarstan" was adopted
The law establishes the maximum minimum size of a land plot that is in state or municipal ownership and provided for the implementation of a peasant (farm) economy of its activities - 2.3 hectares.
The minimum size of a new land plot formed from agricultural land is set at 2.3 hectares. If the formation of a land plot with an area equal to or more than 2.3 hectares is impossible, the minimum size of a new land plot to be formed from agricultural land is determined equal to the maximum area of a land plot that can be formed.
The maximum maximum size of a land plot, which is in state or municipal ownership and provided for the implementation of a peasant (farm) economy, is set at 500 hectares.
The law comes into force 10 days after the day of its official publication.
