The leaders of the State Budgetary Institution "Spatial Data Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan" took part in a solemn event on the occasion of the day of the creation of the Department of Geography and Cartography
Yesterday, the leadership of the State Budgetary Institution "Spatial Data Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan" took part in the celebration of the 218th anniversary of the Department of Geography and Cartography of Kazan Federal University.
The Spatial Data Fund includes various areas of activity, and of course, the first priority is the creation of a unified structure for storing and providing spatial data in the Republic of Tatarstan. Our main task is to fill the archival fund with up-to-date and demanded cartographic and geodetic information. Therefore, the cooperation of the Spatial Data Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan with the Department of Geography and Cartography is aimed specifically at fulfilling the task.
In turn, the Department of Geography and Cartography is the "source" of most of the Foundation's personnel - both graduates and students of this direction work for us. And the internship in the production departments of the institution has become a kind of "help" in the inclusion of university students in the profession.
Combining theory and practice, involving students in production activities helps us gain time and increase the efficiency of processes, and students, in turn, gain invaluable experience and have the opportunity to find a job in a public institution.
