On November 28, 2022, employees of the Ministry of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in an event dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day - the anti-corruption quest "Together Against Corruption", which was held among the ministries of the Republic and teams of the youth government on the basis of the State Budgetary Institution "A.S. Pushkin Cultural Center" .
The event was organized by the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on Anti-Corruption Policy.
The event was held among employees of the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan. The participants, divided into 4 teams of 7-8 people, tested their erudition and logic by answering questions related to corruption.
Before the start of the game, Timur Nikonov, Deputy Minister of Transport and Roads, and Alexander Lokhotskoy, Chief Adviser of the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on Anti-Corruption Policy, addressed the participants with parting words.
Timur Nikonov focused the attention of those present on the programs implemented by the Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities, on the quality and rigorous implementation of which the investment and tourist attractiveness of the republic depends. "Our task is to ensure transparency and accountability for spending each ruble," the speaker said.
Alexander Lokhotskoy stressed that holding such events is extremely important. “Unfortunately, all spheres of the socio-economic life of the state are subject to corruption. The most important thing for us is to exclude the possibility of corruption, and a significant role in this is played by legal education and the formation of a negative attitude towards corruption among the population. Success in this direction depends on the principled position of everyone.”
During the breaks between questions, an interactive discussion was organized among the participants of the game, during which, in an open microphone format, those present answered the questions of participants and spectators, among whom were students of Department of secondary vocational education at the Institute of Aviation, Land Transport and Energy - "Technical College" of Kazan National Research Technical University "Technical College" and Kazan Construction College. In particular, the children learned about the main tools for preventing corruption, and also discussed the issues of punishment for corruption crimes.
The victory in the game was won by the team of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, which showed the highest results.
This format of coverage of the topic of prevention of corruption in the school environment received positive feedback from both invited experts and the participants themselves.
