Government of the Russian Federation made a decree from 22.03.2014 № 429- R, in accordance with amending the scheme of territorial planning of the Russian Federation in the federal transportation ( rail, air, sea, inland waterway) , federal highways. This scheme involves the construction of high-speed highway Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod- Kazan and reconstruction of railway stations, interstations with gridiron , including Kazan -2 terminal (total area of which is 10 800 sq. m .)
