Meeting with municipalities on appraisal activity

       In accordance with the instructions of the Deputy Prime Minister of RT - Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the non-commercial partnership "Appraisers Union of RT" Yuri Kamaltynov, on May 21, 2014 under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mussin a meeting with representatives of republic municipalities was held. The meeting discussed partnership cooperation with specialized structural departments of the executive authorities’ municipalities on appraisal activity.

        In particular, the following directions were noted:

- Expansion of the partnership’s working range in the municipalities with the definition of responsible persons;

- Determination of mechanisms for the use of professional opinion on controversial issues on municipal property valuation, including, challenging the property cadastral value;

- The formation of reliable assessment base on operational information exchange of partnership and municipalities;

- Consulting support of partnership on methodology and assessment practice;

- Mutual information and joint suppression of unfair competition, dumping, valuation poor work performance;

- Promotion of the partnership and its members on the websites of subordinate authorities, organizations and on the media;

- Participation practice in legal proceedings related to the assessment, existing problems and possible mechanisms to eliminate them.

       Proposals on the meeting results will be sent to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan and the members of the non-commercial partnership "Appraisers Union of RT".
