Today in Tatarstan held a solemn commissioning of three Automobile gas filling compressor stations of Gazprom.

Start the new gas filling facilities gave the chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC "Gazprom" Viktor Zubkov and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The event was held at the Automobile gas filling compressor station in Zelenodolsk, in teleconference mode operation plant have been introduced in Nizhnekamsk and Bugulma.

Commissioning of 3 Automobile gas filling compressor stations has expanded the existing network up to 13 objects. The total design capacity of gas fueling infrastructure of the republic has increased from 78, 6 million cubic meters to 103 million cubic meters of natural gas per year, which will provide more than 6,000 daily refueling vehicles.

Until the end of 2016 it is planned to put into operation 6 new Automobile gas filling compressor stations. The total volume of "Gazprom" investment in the development of the NGV infrastructure will be about 1,5 billion rubles.

"The Republic of Tatarstan is the leader not only in the level of gasification of the region, but also in the implementation of innovative projects on the use of natural gas in transport. Implementation of joint projects will cover all segments of the technology, from cars to farm "- said the chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC" Gazprom" Viktor Zubkov.

He noted that such stations can filled up to 500-600 cars per day. Consumption of Automobile gas filling compressor stations can be up to 8 million cubic meters.

According to Viktor Zubkov, comsruction of such stations will increase the gas consumption market.

This year, Gazprom will enter into service 35 stations in the region, in 2017 - more than 50. By 2020 it is planned to increase the number of Automobile gas filling compressor stations to 480, and it is better - to 500, said Viktor Zubkov, investment in the project will amount to about 80 billion rubles.

With regard to the Republic of Tatarstan, then, according to Zubkov, in 2019 there should be 25 such stations.

Viktor Zubkov thanked the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov for support.

In turn, Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his greeting to “Gazprom” company for this strategic project and the federal government - for subsidies for the program of transfer of vehicles to natural gas. According to Rustam Minnikhanov, the republic purchased 700 cars with natural gas engine, it is planned to buy another 300. This is especially environmentally friendly and economical, he said.
