Federal Law dated 03.07.2016 № 361-FZ "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation and the Annulment of Certain Legislative Acts (Provisions of Legislative Acts) of the Russian Federation"

On January 1, 2017 (with the exception of certain provisions) shall enter into force on the Federal Law dated 03.07.2016 № 361-FZ "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation and the Annulment of Certain Legislative Acts (Provisions of Legislative Acts) of the Russian Federation" (hereinafter - Federal law).

The federal law is aimed at the creation of mechanisms for implementation and proper execution of the Federal Law "On state registration of real estate".

Under this Federal law provisions of a considerable number of legislative acts are in line with the terminology used in the federal law "On state registration of real estate." For this purposes, changes are made to the Land Code of the Russian Federation, Housing Code of the Russian Federation, the Town Planning Code of the Russian Federation, the Forest Code of the Russian Federation Fundamentals of the Russian Federation legislation on notaries, as well as the Federal Law "On the Turnover of Agricultural Lands," "On the transfer of land or land plots from one category to another ","On special economic zones in the Russian Federation" and others.

Changes are also being made to the Federal Law "On state registration of real estate" in order to bring it into line with other legislative acts of the Russian Federation, in which changes were made before, and in order to improve the procedure and clarify the conditions of entry in the Unified State Register of Real Estate.

In addition, in connection with the entry into force of the Federal Law "On state registration of real estate" on 1-st of January, 2017, certain provisions of legislative acts shall be repealed.

In connection with the acceptance of the Law, it is necessary to amend Article 32.1 of the Land Code of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Resolution of the Cabinet of the Republic of Tatarstan dated 25.10.2006 number 523 "On Approval of the application for the transfer of land from the agricultural land to different category and the composition of attached documents" (the replacement of the words "the Unified State Register of Rights to immovable property and transactions with it" to "Unified State Register of Real Estate").
