Azat Hamaev took part in the opening of a new office building of the Engineering Center "Energoprogress"

Today in Kazan with participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a grand opening of a new office building of the Engineering center "Energoprogress" (Volgogradskaya Str, 34).

 "Energoprogress" - one of the first engineering centers in the country in the field of energetics, created in 1989. Today, the institution activity goes far beyond the republic and includes the whole cycle of works on engineering management, supply and construction of various industries as EPC (M) -contractor.

Construction and reconstruction of the office building with total area of 919.26 square meter is the first stage of resettlement of the areas of Engineering Center. Subsequently, it is planned construction of a new laboratory building, where 15 accredited laboratories will run over. Today also there are 5 production sites in the republic.

During the inspection of the premises of renewed Engineering Center, innovative developments in the area of an integrated approach to solving problems to ensure the stable operation of power systems were presented to guests

The ceremony was dedicated to the opening of the new facility, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the engineering development is the key to growth for large high-tech enterprises.

"If our power company buy everything from the outside - no money will be  not enough. And most importantly - we can prevent such errors, to correct that in the future it will be very difficult, "- he said.

"You have a strong team of engineers, developed infrastructure, 15 modern laboratories. It should be further developed. Do not rely solely in the Tatarstan companyes: to them you have to test their achievements. A parallel it is need to cooperate with foreign partners and to find markets outside the country ", - added the President of Tatarstan.

Then, Rustam Minnikhanov presented state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan and Tatarstan President’s Gratitude to a number of power engineers for the great contribution to the development of the power sector of republic.
