The delegations of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Mari El met at one of the problematic sections of the adjacent border.

The section of the border of the Zelenodolsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan and the city of Volzhsk of the Republic of Mari El is densely populated and has many overlaps of cadastral plots in the unified state register of real estate. Today the adjacent border is crossed by the buildings of the population.

The delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan paid a working visit to the Ministry of Property of the Samara Region.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Property of the Samara Region Sergey Ivanovich Cherepanov to discuss issues related to the coordination of the adjacent border of the two regions. During the meeting, several controversial issues related to border crossing were resolved. The participants agreed on an approach to solving the remaining problem areas.

On September 21, 2020 the meeting of the working subgroup on establishing the adjacent border of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Orenburg region held at the Ministry of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan in the videoconference mode under the chairmanship of Acting Deputy Minister Tagir Khusnutdinov.

During the meeting, the issues of crossing the border of the Republic of Tatarstan on the border with the Orenburg region were discussed, problematic issues of establishing the border between the subjects of the Russian Federation, and also discussed a draft agreement on the establishment of an adjacent border.

The length of the border of the Republic of Tatarstan with the Orenburg region is about two hundred kilometers. Bavlinsky and Bugulminsky municipal districts of the republic are located on the border.

Ruslan Komarov, Director of the State Budgetary Institution Spatial Data Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in the establishment of the nodal point of the borders of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kirov region and the Republic of Mari El. The junction point of the boundaries of the three subjects was determined based on the data of maps of materials and the situation on the ground.
