The Ministry of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed issues of providing land for the implementation of large-scale investment projects
On January 28, 2019, the Ministry of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting, chaired by the First Deputy Minister of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan Artur Galiev, to discuss the allocation of land for the implementation of large-scale investment projects in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the meeting, issues about the risks of not implementing investment projects on leased land plots, about the mechanism of termination of a land lease agreement with an unscrupulous investor and return of a land plot, about a mechanism to prevent claims related to the construction of the object on the land plot and the bankruptcy of the investor, on the procedure for monitoring the implementation of the project and regulatory authorities were discussed.
According to the results of the meeting, proposals for making amendments and additions to the Resolution of the Cabinet of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 1034 of December 30, 2015 “On approving the procedure for reviewing documents that substantiate the compliance of an object of socio-cultural and household use, a large-scale investment project with the criteria established by the Land Code of the Republic Tatarstan, for the provision of land for rent without bidding in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan " were developed.
