Minister Azat Khamaev took part in a meeting with the delegation of the Omsk Region headed by Governor Alexander Burkov

On July 1 Minister Azat Khamaev took part in the meeting of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with the Governor of the Omsk Region Alexander Burkov, which took place in the Kazan Kremlin.

Before the start of the meeting, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of the Omsk Region Alexander Burkov signed an Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Government of the Omsk Region on cooperation in the economic, cultural, social and other spheres.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that in recent years, cooperation between Tatarstan and the Omsk Region has been significantly strengthened. Thus, the volume of mutual trade reached about 4 billion rubles. “I believe that it is possible to significantly increase these volumes. We supply trucks, agricultural machinery, tires, petrochemical products, medical equipment, and medicines to the Omsk Region, ”the President of the Republic of Tatarstan said. He also pointed to the prospects for the development of interregional cooperation in terms of supporting entrepreneurship, developing public services and the electronic procurement system.

In turn, Alexander Burkov noted that cooperation with Tatarstan is important for the Omsk region. “The Republic of Tatarstan is our main partner in the Volga Federal District. You and I have a lot in common. Petrochemistry, engineering, agriculture and food production are well developed in our regions. The cooperation agreement that we signed earlier opens up a large field for us to work together, ”the Governor stressed.
