At the meeting of the Committee on Housing Policy and Infrastructure Development, parliamentarians considered a bill amending the law of the Republic of Tatarstan “On providing housing for orphans and children left without parental care” and on amending the law of the Republic of Tatarstan “On targeted social support of the population in the Republic of Tatarstan ". It is a matter of providing Tatarstan with orphans living quarters with an area of at least 24 square meters. meters.

In his speech, the First Deputy Minister of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan Artur Galiev, noted that the bill is aimed at protecting the rights of orphans and secures guarantees in Tatarstan to provide them with living space. In addition, an analysis of municipal acts shows that in the cities and districts of the republic different area standards are established under a social contract of employment. The proposed bill aims to streamline this rule in relation to orphans and children left without parental care.

“The Ministry of Land and Property

of the Republic of Tartartan is an authorized body for the purchase of residential premises to provide them with orphans. From the beginning of the program, from 2013 to 2018, 1818 residential premises were purchased throughout the republic. This year the plan includes 309 apartments, 145 have been acquired for today. They are transferred to the Ministry of Education and Science, and there is a redistribution. And in addition, by the end of the year, the acquisition of 164 residential premises is expected. The forecast for 2020 is 321 apartments, ”said Arthur Galiev.

The deputies approved the document and recommended that the RT State Council adopt it in the first and third readings.
