The Republic of Tatarstan launched the Year of the 100th anniversary of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic
A solemn event with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was held in the Concert Hall named after Ilham Shakirov of the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center.

The state flags of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tatarstan, the first banner of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, the flag of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic were brought onto the stage.
The national anthems of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan were performed.
“With today's celebration, we are opening the Year of the Centenary of the Formation of the TASSR,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. - Many international, all-Russian and republican events are planned. The iconic objects of the socio-cultural sphere will open. The name of the century of TASSR will be one of the metro stations. Scientific and practical forums will be held. Of course, people will always be the focus of our attention. Indeed, the success of the republic is based on the creative work of many generations of Tatarstan people. I express my gratitude to everyone who has contributed and continues to contribute to the prosperity of his native Tatarstan! ”

Then the ceremony of awarding the new state award of the Republic of Tatarstan - “100 years of the founding of the TASSR” - the most distinguished fellow citizens.
Rustam Minnikhanov presented the award to the State Advisor to the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev.
In a festive atmosphere, the award was presented to the veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Hero of the Soviet Union Boris Kuznetsov.
