The Republic of Tatarstan and the Kirov region discussed the procedure for establishing an adjacent border
Today, Acting Deputy Minister of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan Tagir Khusnutdinov, held a meeting via video conferencing with the participation of colleagues from the Kirov region. The participants discussed the procedure for establishing the border, exchanged experience in this area and agreed on cooperation.
Tatarstan and the Kirov region will exchange source cartographic materials, on the basis of which a draft of the adjacent border will be developed.
To date, 75% of the draft border of the Republic of Tatarstan is ready and is being coordinated with neighboring entities. The contractor for establishing the border of the Republic of Tatarstan is the State Budgetary Institution Spatial Data Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan. The disputed areas that arose during the approval of the project are discussed in a working group on the border of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The work on establishing the border is planned to be completed in 2020.
