The Minister of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan Fanil Agliullin reported on the progress of work on registration of land plots on which burial sites are located at a republican meeting in the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a videoconference meeting with all municipal regions. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin.

In total, there are 3 thousand 672 cemeteries in the republic (registered - 3 thousand 336, not completed - 336), under which work is being carried out to design 4 thousand 230 plots. To date, 91% of them (3 thousand 867) have been completed, 9% - 363 sites have not been completed. Cemeteries located outside populated areas should be located on industrial and specially protected areas. Last year 1 thousand 192 plots were transferred to industrial lands.

As Fanil Agliullin noted, despite all the difficulties, a number of districts approached this issue responsibly. Formalization is completed in Buinsky, Pestrechinsky, Sarmanovsky and Cheremshansky districts. Work is close to completion in Alekseevsky, Aktanyshsky, Alkeevsky, Arsky, Bavlinsky, Yelabugsky, Zainsky, Kukmorsky, Mendeleevsky, Nurlatsky, Rybno-Slobodsky, Sabinsky, Tukaevsky, Yutazinsky municipal districts, in which the percentage of registration of land plots is more than 95%.

There are also a number of problems that arose in the course of work on the registration of land plots under cemeteries. It is necessary to complete cadastral works for 114 sites. A significant number of cemeteries are located on lands of common land use, the area and boundaries of which are not specified.

Another problematic issue is the placement of cemeteries on private land. Such plots are not subject to privatization. If at the beginning of last year there were 117 cemeteries on private land, today there are 89 of them. The Minister noted that this situation has arisen not only due to the privatization of land along with burial sites located on them, but also in connection with the expansion of existing cemeteries.

Also, 61 cemeteries were established in 23 districts, the borders of which have confirmed intersections with the forest fund. Work in this direction continues.
