The Ministry of Land Property of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed a draft agreement between Tatarstan and Udmurtia

Today, the Ministry of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting on the issue of establishing the border between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Udmurt Republic. Representatives of the Ministry of Property Management of Udmurtia also took part in the discussion via video link.

During the meeting, the participants discussed in detail the preparation of the draft agreement on the establishment of the border, sharing their proposals on this document. The schedule and order of meetings were also determined to resolve the remaining controversial issues on the border.

For reference: the length of the border between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Udmurt Republic is 819 km. When studying the materials, a total of 85 problem areas were identified, most of them have already been agreed. To date, there are 22 controversial issues that need to be resolved in order to complete the work on agreeing the border this year.
