Reduced term for approval of the project planning of the territory
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of April 2, 2022 No. No. 575 "On the specifics of the preparation, coordination, approval, extension of the validity of documentation for the planning of the territory, urban planning plans for land plots, the issuance of permits for the construction of capital construction facilities, permits for commissioning."
According to it, the terms of valid building permits expiring before August 1, 2022 will be automatically extended by one year. Also, the period of validity of all urban planning plans for land plots will be extended for a year. This is the main document that is necessary to start the design and construction of any building.
Another novelty of the document is the abolition of the need to formalize the decision of the authority on the preparation of a draft territory planning and the reduction of the period for agreeing on such a project from 15 to 10 working days.
The resolution is intended to help developers complete the construction projects they have started and initiate new construction projects in a difficult macroeconomic situation.
