The working subgroup held a field meeting on the border with Udmurtia
Deputy Minister of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan Maxim Rogozhkin, Deputy Director of the state budgetary institution Spatial Data Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan Ruslan Komarov and Head of the Department of Geodesy and Cartography Andrey Logashin held a working field meeting in the Bolsheshhurnyakskoye rural settlement of the Yelabuzhsky municipal district. The trip was organized to resolve the disputed area along the border with the Udmurt Republic.
The meeting was also attended by the deputy head of the Yelabuzhsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan Oleg Kolpakov, the head of the Bolsheshurnyakskoye rural settlement Nikolai Melnikov, representatives of the district forestry and old-timers of local villages, who spoke about how land use in this area has historically evolved.
As a result of the meeting, the Udmurt side will be offered a project for passing the border, taking into account historical facts and the interests of local residents.
