Forest plantations will be digitized in Tatarstan

This month, the Spatial Data Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan plans to begin work on the digitization of forest plantations in the Republic of Tatarstan to identify ownerless forests and abandoned agricultural (arable) land.

The search for such sites will begin with the Nizhnekamsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The received information will be processed and digitized by specialists of the Department of Geodesy and Cartography of the Spatial Data Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan. In the future, the digitized data will be used in the work of the Ministry of Land and Property, as well as the Ministry of Forestry of Tatarstan.
