Proposals to establish the border with Udmurtia have been developed
Work to establish the border of the Republic of Tatarstan with neighboring regions continues.
The Republic of Tatarstan borders on 8 subjects of the Russian Federation. According to the results of the analysis of border discrepancies, specialists of the State Budgetary Institution Spatial Data of Fund the Republic of Tatarstan found over 570 problem areas. To date, all controversial points have been resolved, the process of agreeing on border options according to established rules continues.
So, yesterday a regular meeting of the working subgroup was held, during which proposals were developed for the Udmurt side on the exchange of two striped sections of the Republic of Tatarstan for equal areas of forest land adjacent to the border. Recall that initially 85 disputed areas were identified along the border line, 819 km long.
Representatives of the Ministry of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Budgetary Institution Spatial Data Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the forestry of the Agryzsky municipal district took part in the work.
