Work to clarify the boundaries of specially protected natural areas in Tatarstan is underway

The Spatial Data Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan (a subordinate institution of the Ministry of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan) is working to clarify the boundaries of 29 specially protected natural areas.

The Fund has 20 territories in its work, including the Blue Lakes and Sviyazhsky state natural reserve of regional significance of complex profile. The main problem of clarifying the boundaries of protected areas is related to the coordination of the available data with the materials of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic. Now all 20 protected areas have been sent to the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for biological resources for approval.
