More than 10,000 students find employment on a year-round basis each year thanks to student teams
Youth All-Russian Public Organization "Russian Student Teams" (RST) is the largest youth organization in the country, which provides seasonal and temporary employment for more than 240 thousand young people from 74 subjects of the Russian Federation, and is also engaged in civic and patriotic education, develops the creative and sports potential of young people ( https://trudkrut.rf/).
Since 1963, the Republican headquarters of student teams has been solving employment issues and increasing the competitiveness of students in the labor market. Every year, thanks to student groups, more than 10,000 students find work on a year-round basis, covering new territories and areas for work, new facilities and enterprises, and popularize work among young people.
Members of student labor teams can annually undergo free vocational training in working specialties, in accordance with Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of June 9, 2021 No. 876. For example, in the spring of 2022, 1079 young people were trained in 35 professions.
During the summer working season, members of student teams are provided with free accommodation and meals, and also receive compensation for travel to the place of employment and medical examination at the expense of the employer.
In 2022, in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Russia, employers can receive subsidies for the employment of young people. We are talking about the employment of citizens under the age of 30 years. Among them are graduates of colleges and universities without work experience, young people without secondary vocational or higher education, people with disabilities, orphans, parents of minor children experiencing problems in finding employment.
In addition, when employing representatives of student teams, the employer gets the opportunity to select the most promising students for further employment after graduation and the possibility of mass recruitment of temporary employees, even in a narrow specialization.
And bringing a specialist to the necessary requirements while working in a detachment, when applying for a permanent position, allows you to reduce the time for adaptation.
Another important plus is the use of a tax benefit that allows you to reduce the amount of insurance premiums (up to 22% of the wage fund). These funds can be used to improve working conditions and reward students.
Also, in cooperation with the Union "Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan" to determine the best organizations in the Republic of Tatarstan engaged in youth employment and creating jobs for students of educational organizations formed into student teams or labor teams, since 2020, the competition "Best organization for student labor groups in the Republic of Tatarstan”.
In 2020, the Youth Jobs portal was launched. The project is intended for young people with any level of qualification and who are at any stage of education in educational institutions of higher and vocational education, aged 18 to 35, living in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
