The financial and economic activities of municipal unitary enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan are considered

Yesterday, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan, Edik Diyarov, the meeting via videoconference to consider the financial and economic activities of municipal unitary enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan (hereinafter referred to as MUE’s) based on the results of the 1st quarter of 2022 was held.

Thus, at the end of the 1st quarter of 2022, 114 municipal unitary enterprises were registered in the republic, of which 92 are operating, there is no activity in 10 municipal unitary enterprises, in the liquidation procedure of 9 and in the bankruptcy procedure of 3 enterprises.

 Deputy Minister Edik Diyarov noted that, according to the analysis, the number of unprofitable enterprises at the end of the 1st quarter of 2022 amounted to 44 MUEs, and 21 MUEs with loans. The most unprofitable are municipal unitary enterprises in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Bugulminsky, Verkhneuslonsky, Nurlatsky and Nizhnekasmsky municipal districts. Municipal formations with the largest number of credited MUEs: Naberezhnye Chelny, Kazan, Aktanyshsky, Mendeleevsky and Nizhnekamsky municipal districts.

The meeting considered the activities of the most unprofitable and over-credited municipal unitary enterprises, which have the risk of losing municipal property. Representatives of municipalities and heads of the MUEs under consideration gave explanations about the reasons for the losses of enterprises and measures taken to improve their financial performance.

During his speech, the Deputy Minister also noted the need for the timely implementation of the Action Plan of the Republic of Tatarstan for the period until January 1, 2025 to reform the SUE, approved by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated October 27, 2020 No. 966.
