Today, the meeting of the working group chaired by Minister Fanil Agliullin was held at the Ministry of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan. The main issue on the agenda was the approval of the working draft of the border of the Republic of Tatarstan with the Ulyanovsk region.
Andrey Logashin, Head of the Department of Geodesy and Cartography of the State Budgetary Institution “Spatial Data Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan”, presented a demonstration of the project for crossing the border with the Ulyanovsk Region to the working group.
Work on establishing the border with the Ulyanovsk region began at the end of 2019. The length of the border is 381 km. Until mid-2020, the State Budgetary Institution "Spatial Data Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan" carried out work to collect the necessary cartographic material and create a project for passing the border. Initially, 57 areas of significant divergence of borders were identified, to date, all controversial issues have been resolved.
In May this year, the Ulyanovsk region received approval for the draft border, as well as the format and content of the set of documents under the agreement. The working group from the side of the Republic of Tatarstan also approved the coordinated project of the border crossing. Further, work will begin on preparations for the signing of the Agreement by the leaders of the regions.
Brief information about the establishment of the border of the Republic of Tatarstan:
As of today, the borders have been fully coordinated and agreements have been signed with the Orenburg region, with the Republic of Chuvashia and the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The borders with the Samara region and the Republic of Mari El have been agreed upon, work is being completed for the signing of agreements on the passage of the border.
On the border with the Kirov region and the Republic of Udmurtia, it remains to agree on three sections of the border.
