The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the creation of water-protective forest plantations
The Ministry of Forestry hosted a meeting on the creation of water protection forest plantations along the rivers of the Republic of Tatarstan. It was held by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov. The discussion was attended by Deputy Minister of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan Maxim Rogozhkin, First Deputy Director of the State Budgetary Institution "Spatial Data Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan" Ruslan Komarov, Head of the Department of Land and Property Affairs of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marina Vavilova and Head of the Department of Reforestation and Afforestation of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Timur Galiev.
Opening the meeting, First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov said that the Ministry, together with the administrations of municipal districts, had selected land plots for the creation of water protection forest plantations along the rivers of the republic on a total area of 1,450 hectares. “Acts of land allocation and projects for the creation of such plantations have been drawn up,” he said.
During the meeting, issues of financing work on the creation of water-protective forest plantations, transferring plots to forest fund lands, etc. were discussed.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided to send the register of lands for the creation of water protection plantations to the Federal Forestry Agency for inclusion in the federal register of compensatory reforestation.
