The financial and economic activity of municipal unitary enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan is considered

Today, Deputy Minister of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan Edik Diyarov held a meeting via videoconference to consider the financial and economic activities of municipal unitary enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan following the results of the 3rd quarter of 2022.

 Thus, at the end of the 3rd quarter of 2022, 111 municipal unitary enterprises were registered in the republic, of which 89 are operating, there is no activity in 8 municipal unitary enterprises, 11 in the liquidation procedure and 3 enterprises in the bankruptcy procedure.

  Deputy Minister Edik Diyarov noted that, according to the analysis, the number of unprofitable enterprises at the end of the 3rd quarter of 2022 amounted to 43 municipal unitary enterprises, and 19 municipal unitary enterprises with loans.  The most unprofitable are municipal unitary enterprises in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsky, Nurlatsky and Nizhnekamsky municipal districts.  Municipal formations with the largest number of credited municipal unitary enterprises: Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevskiy and Mendeleevskiy municipal districts.

 The meeting considered the activities of the most unprofitable and over-credited municipal unitary enterprises, which have the risk of losing municipal property.  Representatives of municipalities and heads of the municipal unitary enterprises under consideration gave explanations about the reasons for the losses of enterprises and measures taken to improve their financial performance.

 During his speech, the Deputy Minister also noted the need for the timely implementation of the Action Plan of the Republic of Tatarstan for the period until January 1, 2025 to reform the municipal unitary enterprises, approved by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated October 27, 2020 No. 966.
