The government has simplified the procedure for placing summer cafes
Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 440 dated March 21, 2023 expanded the list of objects for the placement of which it is not necessary to register the rights to land plots. The updated list includes verandas for arranging street cafes, as well as sites for placing construction equipment and materials during current or major repairs of buildings, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reports.
Owners of restaurants or cafes can equip the site with seasonal (summer) cafes, without additional procedures. This will be possible provided that the land under the new seats is in state or municipal ownership and has not previously been provided for other purposes. The forest fund is excluded from the area where such facilities are located.
This decision was made in order to support entrepreneurs working in the field of public catering. In addition, this innovation will make it possible to carry out major or current repairs of buildings faster, since builders can place the necessary equipment and building materials near the work site.
