A decision on the annual meeting of the NPO "Appraisers Union of RT"

        A Board meeting NPO "Appraisers Union of RT" held on February 28, 2014 decided to hold reporting-elective annual general meeting of the Partnership on March 20 of current year.

        Meeting participants offered to expand the membership of the Board by candidates-appraisers with extensive experience of methodical and practical work. The project’s financial plan was approved for 2014. A significant part of the costs offered to send for legal work activation, restraint of violations in the valuation market, interests support of its bona fide participants - members of the NPO , the popularization of the appraisers Union activities, effective mechanisms development of public-private partnership .

        Board members unanimously supported the nomination for the post of the Supervisory Council’s Chairman of the Appraisers Union of RT Yuri Kamaltynov - Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - and expressed confidence that the extensive experience, knowledge and authority of Yuri Kamaltynov allow to implement the Partnership’s tasks successfully.

        During the meeting after the report of the Education Committee of the Appraisers Union, a decision was made on confirmation of the Regulation on professional public accreditation of educational programs for appraisers at the next Board meeting (12.03.2014).

        Moreover, at the next meeting proposed to affirm a composition of the Expert Advisory Council of Partnership and Regulation on its activities. Need for development of an independent expert body, including both representatives of the relevant authorities, and lead appraisers, caused by numerous requests, as well from law enforcement agencies to the partnership on estimates’ contestation, lack of commonly agreed examination mechanisms of its results. However, the legal protection of appraisers’ goodwill, as appropriate, will be distributed only to the members of the Partnership, until the funding forms for experts’ activity will be determined.
